Double Deep Pallet Racking

Description

Double Deep Pallet Racking System is an economical solution for warehouses requiring higher storage density whilst maintaining easy access and relatively quick retrieval. A midpoint between Selective and high-density pallet racking system.

Double Deep Pallet Racking is designed to hold 2-4 deep pallets within a single and double entry rack. This system allows for rapid dispatch for large pallets of similar size and product.

Pallets at lower levels must be on beams, and guide rails are used at upper levels

This system is used in conjunction with special forklifts, often fitted with a pantograph mechanism ‘reach fork truck’ specially designed to reach the second pallet location.

Offers first in last out inventory management (FILO)
